VISITOR BOOK ENTRIES
Woke to a magnificent downpour. Leisurely breakfast – thanks for the fresh herbs in the garden – drove to Akaroa and walked down to the beach – sun broke through the clouds and swapped scarf for sunscreen. Spent the day exploring St Helens and surrounds. Then a magnificent dinner at Furneaux followed by a leisurely evening – Angelique Kidjou playing (a thousand thank yous!) and reading (my Traitor’s Heart). A wonderful day , wonderful home, and a magnificent music-and-reading library. Could not think of a better way to restore body and soul after Vic COVID-19 and 4 years of MAGA. In the words of someone much more eloquent “Thank you Bigly!”

What a treat after a long day driving to walk into this amazing place. The views, the FANTASTIC artwork, all the special personal bits scattered around. I could easily stay here for a very long time, maybe forever. Thank you for allowing us to share and experience your wonderful house!!

A lovely house that has everything you could possibly need. Thank you. Even down to the stuffed lovely kangaroo at the bottom of the steps!! Well that’s what I thought – however visitors beware – she is real and beautiful! Fantastic location – wonderful views a truly original beach house.

Thank you for sharing your place with us! We especially loved your picture window – what a great view to begin and end the day with. So close to some great hikes (Goblin Forest and Blue Tier Big Tree Walk) and to Bay of Fires.

First Prize for best accommodation on our Tassie Tour!! Not the sort of place you want to leave in a hurry, so luckily we had booked five nights. Character, Comfort and Cleanliness…So much to enjoy. The books, DVDs, CDs and games were a delight. Scrabble, wine and a warming fire at night. The dining table was like a magnet for all activities. A home away from home. Thanks heaps Helen and Owen.

Authentic. It is my first time in an Airbnb place and I expected it to be rather anonymous. However, your place is impregnated with real personality. Real artwork on the wall, real eating table, and cooking facilities, an oyster knife was very useful! Video collection from Hannah Arendt to Rocky Horror Picture Show, and the list goes on. Thank you for your hospitality, I felt you here. The view is…ok… (joke!).
