Authentic…… It is my first time in an Air B’n’B and I expected it to be rather anonymous. However, your place is impregnated with real personality. Real artworks on the walls, real eating table and cooking facility and an oyster knife was very useful! Video collection from Hannah Arendt to The Rocky Horror Picture Show and the list goes on! I felt good here and the view is… OK… (joke).”

“Woke to a magnificent downpour. Leisurely breakfast – thanks for the fresh herbs in the garden – drove to Akaroa and walked down to the beach – sun broke through the clouds and swapped scarf for sunscreen. Spent the day exploring St Helens and surrounds. Then a magnificent dinner at Furneaux followed by a leisurely evening – Angelique Kidjou playing (a thousand thank yous!) and reading (my Traitor’s Heart). A wonderful day , wonderful home, and a magnificent music-and-reading library. Could not think of a better way to restore body and soul after Vic COVID-19 and 4 years of MAGA. In the words of someone much more eloquent “Thank you Bigly!”
